At Two Ghosts Vinyl Café, we consciously uphold an alcohol‑free ethos that carries a deeply personal meaning for us.
As two individuals in long-term recovery and former substance abuse counselors, we understand the devastations alcohol can cause, perhaps a little too well as it hits close to home.
But we also know the transformative power of spaces designed for wellness, shared presence, and collective care—where people can gather in connection with a chosen community, not continuing the cycles of harm while in isolation.
Our shop is built to foster authentic interactions and uphold a deep commitment to equity. Two Ghosts exists to offer that kind of alternative environment: intentional, inclusive, and grounded in mindful hospitality.
Our goal is to create an environment rooted in clarity rather than intoxication. This choice isn’t about preaching or standing on a soapbox;
it’s about offering a welcoming space where everyone—especially non‑drinkers for whatever reasons—can spend time together, savor thoughtful beverages and enjoy conversations without competing for volume, dealing with interruptions of loud patrons and awkward drunken outbursts.
We believe that joy, belonging, and creativity is possible, can indeed flourish and alcohol isn’t at the center of all of that.
Whether you’re here for a new record, a mocktail, just vibing with physical media or desire a mellow night out, you’ll find a place designed for genuine relationships, collective experiences, and a sense of ease.
In a landscape that has been dominated by alcohol, especially social ones, we know firsthand the challenges that non‑drinkers often face. Things like limited choices, unhealthy options, even uncomfortable and potentially triggering situations like waiting in drink lines.
We aim to change that. Yes, we’re intentionally ‘sober‑forward' but not sober-only. Meaning everyone is welcome: people in recovery, the sober curious, those taking a break, or anyone who simply wants to enjoy great drinks and a vibrant atmosphere without pressure or pretense.
